Hello!
After a successful program this year,
we are delighted to introduce you to the 2010 Hear For
You Program.
We have updated two Information Kits
(copies attached) one for parents /
professionals and another for teenagers. The latter has been specially written
in teenage language.
We would be grateful if you could
forward this email and the attached Information Kits via your network to
parents of deaf and hearing impaired teenagers in NSW schools, who could be
interested.
During Terms 1, 2 and 3, 2010, we
will be hosting three group workshops for young people with cochlear implants /
hearing aids at Wesley College, University of Sydney. It will be a fantastic
opportunity for the teenagers to experience the university atmosphere as they
prepare themselves for life after school. In addition, we will host a Meet
& Greet / Information Session for parents and teenagers enrolled in the
program so they can benefit from meeting the mentors.
Below is a snapshot of what we have

We have developed a successful
program with great results. Two past graduates of our program were made
Prefects at their mainstream schools. The feedback from the teenagers and their
parents has been very positive about the quality of our mentors.
Spots are limited, so parents interested in securing a placement in this
exciting program can enroll online via our website http://www.hearforyou.com.au/enrol.html
or simply fill in and return the enrollment form in the Information Kit.
